Eagles Postseason Aftermath: Kevin Patullo Still Employed (Somehow)
Season’s over, the tape was ugly, and Patullo’s still employed. Here’s what went wrong and what has to happen next.

The Chase continues. A few days removed from that Wild Card loss, and the Eagles are still sitting in the same weird limbo: the season’s over, the offense looked broken, and Kevin Patullo somehow still has a job. But the message around the league is getting louder by the day. Adam Schefter already hinted at “mass changes” coming on the offensive side of the ball, and after watching that unit stumble through 2025, it’d be shocking if this staff stayed intact. Patullo is obviously at the center of it, because the play-calling was predictable, lifeless, and somehow managed to waste an offense loaded with talent.
That said, firing Patullo isn’t some instant cure-all, because this wasn’t even his offense in the first place. It was Nick Sirianni’s offense, the same one he’s openly admitted is “his” no matter who’s calling it. Patullo just happens to be the most “Nick Sirianni guy” we’ve had yet, which is why the whole thing felt like a sequel to the Brian Johnson mess. So yeah, Patullo has to go. But if Sirianni is still going to keep his hands all over the scheme, the Eagles are just swapping out coordinators while running back the same broken script.
Let’s get into it.

🌊 THE CURRENTS
JASON KELCE DEFENDS PATULLO. Jason Kelce went on MNF and tried to sell everyone on Kevin Patullo being a great coach, but Eagles fans aren’t buying it because we all watched the same predictable offense every week. Respect to Kelce, but Patullo still needs to be out of the building, and the real problem is Sirianni’s stranglehold on the offense anyway. »Read More Here
HURTS & AJ ON GOOD TERMS. Jalen Hurts made it clear during locker cleanout that he wants A.J. Brown back, but when asked about Kevin Patullo he basically shoved the whole decision onto Howie, Sirianni, and Lurie. Translation: AJ’s his guy, Patullo can be someone else’s problem. »Read More Here
BRYCE ENTERS APPAREL FREE AGENCY. Bryce Harper confirmed his Under Armour deal has expired, making him a free agent in the apparel and footwear world after a 15-year run with the brand. Now one of MLB’s biggest stars and sneakerheads could either shop a massive new endorsement deal or spend the season rotating brands while everyone watches what he’s wearing. All things Phillies here
