Latest on Eagles OC Search + Natty Cameo by Big Movie Star

The Eagles are stacking interviews, and ESPN accidentally gave us the funniest “celebrity” moment of the year.

The Chase continues. The Eagles OC search is officially in “interview everybody and figure it out later” mode, and honestly, that’s probably the right move. Zac Robinson, Mike Kafka, Jim Bob Cooter — the list keeps growing by the day, with more names like Daboll, McDaniel, and even some deep-cut college options floating around too. But the Sean McDermott firing in Buffalo just made this whole thing messier overnight. Now there’s another big-time opening in the mix, which means Philly isn’t just searching anymore — they’re racing. One minute you’re lining up an interview, the next minute your guy is getting a head coaching job somewhere else and you’re left trying to convince yourself that “maybe this random coordinator is the next genius.”

And while all that’s going on, ESPN somehow managed to turn the final minutes of the National Championship into a full-blown “who the hell is that?” moment. Cameras panned to a mystery woman in the stands like she was the biggest celebrity on Earth, and apparently she is… if you’re plugged into whatever corner of Hollywood this is. I looked her up, tried to do my usual Movie Guy due diligence, and came away more confused than before. So yeah — we’ve got Eagles OC chaos on one side, and the Natty giving us an accidental cameo by a “big movie star” on the other. It’s been a week.

Let’s get into it.

🌊 THE CURRENTS

  1. EAGLES TRADE PREDICTION. ESPN’s Benjamin Solak predicts the Eagles will trade QB2 Tanner McKee to the Dolphins for a mid-round pick, and while the idea of Howie flipping a backup QB makes total sense, Miami specifically doesn’t. With their new Packers-connected front office, it feels way more likely they’d chase Malik Willis than call Philly for McKee. » All Things Eagles Here

  2. PHILLIES AND CODY BELLINGER. The Phillies can’t keep playing games with the cleanup spot after missing on Bo Bichette, and with the market basically dried up, Cody Bellinger is the kind of real middle-of-the-order bat they need to force teams to pitch to Bryce Harper again. The only issue is the price — but if they’re serious about fixing the lineup instead of running it back, they have to make a move like this happen. » All Things Phillies Here

  3. TYRESE MAXEY MAKES THE ALL-STAR TEAM. Tyrese Maxey getting named an All-Star starter was already a great moment, but VJ Edgecombe losing his mind celebrating it made it even better. In a city that’s been taking punches lately, Maxey and Edgecombe are the kind of genuine hope Philly’s been desperate for. » All Things Sixers Here

  4. WHAT’S TRENDING. ESPN tried to flex a “big movie star” crowd shot during the final minutes of the Natty, but it just left half the internet asking the same question: who the hell is that? Turns out her name is Abella Danger, and after a quick IMDb check somehow made things even more confusing, I’m officially begging the comments section for answers. » More Trending Topics Here
