No End in Sight for Eagles OC Search
The Eagles are officially the only team with a head coach still hunting for an offensive playcaller, and the list of names just keeps getting weirder.

The Chase continues. The Eagles are officially the last team in the NFL still searching for an offensive coordinator, and it’s starting to stand out more by the day. After the Buccaneers hired Zac Robinson, Philly is now the only team with a head coach already in place that still doesn’t have an OC locked in. The Birds have been busy, though — they’ve already interviewed a pretty wide range of candidates, including Mike Kafka, Matt Nagy, Jim Bob Cooter, Bobby Slowik, and others, after bigger early targets like Brian Daboll and Mike McDaniel never materialized. Right now, the search feels like it’s in that “interview everyone, take your time, don’t rush it” phase, but until there’s an actual hire, the Eagles are going to keep wearing the label as the league’s last team still stuck in coordinator limbo.
And of course, because it’s the Eagles, the media can’t just let it be a normal coaching search — it has to turn into a full-blown circus with a new villain every 24 hours. The latest brainrot take floating around is that Jeff Stoutland is somehow a reason an OC wouldn’t want to come here, which is hilarious considering he’s been here since 2013, worked under three head coaches and seven different offensive coordinators, and made every scheme look functional no matter who was calling plays. The truth is simple: we all know what went wrong last year, and it wasn’t because Philly is some impossible place to coach — it’s because the offense fell apart under Kevin Patullo and Sirianni let it happen. But instead of focusing on reality, the discourse keeps trying to convince everyone the Eagles are some dysfunctional mess, which is rich coming from the same people who act like other organizations are “stable” just because they won the OC hiring race in January.
Let’s get into it.

LATEST ON EAGLES OC SEARCH. The Eagles are officially the last team in the NFL still searching for an offensive coordinator, and after the Buccaneers hired Zac Robinson, they’re now the only team with a head coach in place still missing an OC. Philly has already interviewed multiple candidates — with Matt Nagy, Mike Kafka, Jim Bob Cooter, and Bobby Slowik among the names to watch as the search drags into Week 2. » All Things Eagles Here
DOMBROWSKI CLAIMS VICTORY FOR SOME REASON. Dave Dombrowski basically declared the Phillies offseason “over” and said he’s “content where we are,” meaning this is the roster heading into 2026 whether fans like it or not. The frustration is obvious — they’re running it back with the same holes, especially in the cleanup spot behind Bryce Harper, and now it feels like the only real hope is the young guys actually getting legitimate opportunities to raise the ceiling. » All Things Phillies Here
MAXEY IN THE ALL-STAR GAME. Tyrese Maxey getting named an All-Star starter for the first time was already awesome, but VJ Edgecombe’s pure hype reaction made it even better. In a city that constantly feels like it’s getting kicked in the balls, Maxey and Edgecombe are the kind of energy and hope Philly desperately needs right now. » All Things Sixers Here
WHAT’S TRENDING. Adult movie star Abella Danger showed up on ESPN’s National Championship broadcast and somehow sparked an internet meltdown, even though it didn’t seem like anyone actually cared. The funniest part is she was the one who was upset about it, telling TMZ she wished she could’ve just been “another student,” which is kind of impossible in today’s terminally online world. » More Trending Topics Here
