What’s up everyone? I know I sound like a broken record at this point but I really do apologize for the slight delay on the The Chase over the last few weeks.

We haven’t spoken since the official start of the MLB season on June 1st and well, not to be rude in my opening paragraph this week but…I told you.

As expected the Phillies have taken the June by storm, posting a 10-4 record in the month while winning 8 out of their last 10 games. Yesterday, they won 5-4 against the Arizona Diamondbacks, taking 3 of 4 from the first place team in the NL West a series after taking 2 of 3 from the Los Angeles Dodgers.

I don’t take the “B” word lightly, but let me tell you, the Philadelphia Phillies are BACK and will now open up a weekend series against the Oakland Athletics on the road before returning home to face the first place Atlanta Braves next week.

The Philadelphia Phillies have been, well, the Philadelphia Phillies through the first 54 games of the 2023 MLB season. How you want to judge them is totally up to you of course, but if you take a look at where this team was last season compared to where they are this season, you’ll notice almost identical records and statistics.

Bryce Harper wants to die in a Phillies jersey

The Phillies are headed to Oakland this weekend and Bryce Harper talked about the Athletics moving to his hometown of Las Vegas.

Nick Castellanos: ‘Dancing On My Own’ is BACK

The Phillies are red-hot and Nick Castellanos is leading the way. After a shaky first season in Philadelphia, the Nick Castellanos we were expecting has officially arrived.

• Month of June: .414 AVG, 24 H, 3 HR, 14 RBI, 8 R

• 2023 Season: .316, 86 H, 8 HR, 42 RBI, 43 R

Castellanos told 97.5 earlier this week that ‘Dancing On My Own’ is back in the clubhouse, which means that we all need to add it to our Spotify playlists and pretend to like the song again.

Hot Take: At the end of the day, the song wasn’t really that great to begin with. It was more funny than anything because you had a bunch of professional baseball players listening to some cornball remix of a Robyn song and everyone was getting completely obliterated listening to it watching an improbable Phillies run to the World Series.

Still, while I don’t like the song, you really can’t argue that when the month of June rolls around the Phillies tend to turn on the jets and as mentioned above, Nick Castellanos is having one of the best seasons of his career and The Fightins have played significantly better over the past two weeks compared to the start of the season.

As I mentioned above, the Philadelphia Phillies are on FIRE in the month of June, posting a 10-4 record and Nick Castellanos is leading the way.

You might not like the song (me) but it’s hard to argue against results.
