11 straight wins on the road and a spot in the NL Wild Card. The Philadelphia Phillies continued their red hot streak on the road last night, winning their second straight game against the Tampa Bay Rays.

With the win, the Phillies became the second team this season to win a series at Tropicana Field. Honestly, it is the perfect time to be facing the best team in the American League. Tampa Bay has lost four in a row and 10 of 16 games.

Cristopher Sanchez will get the start tonight as The Fightins look to sweep the Rays before heading to Miami for their final series before the All-Star break.

National League East Standings

Making up ground is tough in the National League East standings. The Atlanta Braves are playing out of their damn minds and the Miami Marlins keep finding ways to win baseball games.
