Philadelphia Eagles are 2-0 and fans are in shambles..?

I have never seen a more miserable bunch than Philadelphia Eagles fans after the Birds started their 2023 Super Bowl campaign 2-0.

The Eagles hit the road in Week 1 and secured a win in bad weather against the New England Patriots, only to turn around and head back to South Philly to beat the Minnesota Vikings on Thursday Night Football on 4-days rest.

I sound like a broken record but give Jalen Hurts and the Birds some time to get moving. Super Bowl hangover. No preseason action. This is a climb to the top of the mountain and once we get a few more weeks into the season, we’ll be back in true form.

The Perfect Homecoming for D’Andre Swift 🦅

Philadelphia’s own and the pride of St. Joe’s Prep D’Andre Swift in what basically was his 2023 season debut with the Eagles, terrorized the Vikings defense.

Swift carried the football 28 times for 175 yards and a touchdown including a massive 43-yard gain in the closing minutes of the fourth quarter.

It was the 2nd-most rushing yards of the Sirianni era behind the 363-yard performance against the Packers back in 2021.

Swift led the ground attack with a career-high 175 yards, the most from an Eagles’ running back since LeSean McCoy in 2013.

That’s 259 yards, without Kenny Gainwell and Hurts only rushing for 35 of them. Pretty impressive from the Eagles’ offensive line and of course, the hometown kid D’Andre Swift.
